Arthur Gioulekas
Physiotherapist
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Educator & Mentor
Arthur’s passion for physiotherapy grew out of his own love for sport, training, and optimising performance. As a competitive HYROX and hybrid-training athlete and marathon runner, he knows first-hand that injuries are often just a speed bump on the journey — because he’s been there himself. Having worked through injury and rehabilitation in his own athletic career, Arthur understands what recovery really takes, both physically and mentally.
An experienced physiotherapist and a coach at 98 in South Melbourne, Arthur brings the full range of our hands-on treatments to his clients — from deep tissue massage and dry needling to cupping, IASTM, and joint work. That blend of elite training experience and clinical skill is exactly what makes him so effective at guiding clients through the treatment and rehabilitation process, and getting them back to doing what they love.

Arthur has a strong background in strength and conditioning and rehabilitation, having worked as both a coach and trainer alongside his physiotherapy studies. He’s guided a wide range of clients — from individuals to entire teams, across all ages and ability levels — which gives him a real feel for tailoring treatment and training to the person in front of him. Trained in soft tissue massage and cupping, Arthur is continually expanding his toolkit of treatment techniques to give his clients the best possible care.
His foundation in the science runs deep. Before his Physiotherapy degree, Arthur completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy and Physiology, along with several strength and conditioning courses and certifications — giving him a thorough understanding of how the body moves, performs, and recovers.

His philosophy
Arthur’s approach is centred on helping people perform at their best and live a full, active life. He knows that injuries bring stress and frustration as well as physical pain, so he places real emphasis on education, setting the right goals, and keeping his clients positive and motivated through every stage of treatment. His belief is simple: everyone can benefit from physiotherapy to feel supported, stay healthy, and get the most out of their body.
Outside the clinic
Away from work, Arthur lives and breathes sport and training. He’s an avid CrossFitter who trains across a range of modalities — weightlifting, gymnastics, running, riding, and rowing — and regularly competes at events around Australia. He’s also about as passionate a basketball and American football fan as you’ll find, never shy about wearing his heart on his sleeve for his beloved Celtics and Chiefs. A former high-level junior basketballer, Arthur still hits the court socially on Sunday nights, where he can be found shooting the lights out and stretching the floor from deep.
