Remedial Massage Therapist

This role is for a part time Remedial Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our current team of two Physiotherapists and one Remedial Massage Therapist. All of our therapists enjoy busy schedules comprised of mostly returning clients. Our Remedial Massage sessions include a variety of manual therapy techniques such as fire cupping, dry needling, IASTM, as well as massage. You can still apply if you are unfamiliar and/or inexperienced with these techniques, as we can teach you!

At RBP, we strive to produce effective and long-lasting results for our clients. In doing so, we provide comprehensive and individualised care for each client we see both in and outside of the clinic. Because of this, we encourage our therapists to provide their clients with rehabilitative and performance exercise programs, referrals for other practitioners / services (both internally and externally), and follow-up communications.

You will see up to 25 clients per week, for 60 minutes per session.

This role is flexible with time commitment and scheduling but ideally you will be able to work a minimum of 15 hours over 3-4 days between Monday and Saturday. These hours include mentoring sessions with our senior staff (Physiotherapists) which are designed to develop your technical, clinical, interpersonal and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• Registration with recognised Massage Therapy body or ability to register
• Tertiary Remedial Massage Qualification (min. Cert IV in Massage Therapy)
• Private Practice experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience with exercise prescription is desired but not essential
